All of us at The Barn at The Woods were so happy to have hosted this sweet couple’s wedding day. Glenna retells how they met and where the love story began:
“I was working as a barista at Classen Coffee Company when we were introduced through Peter’s cousin, who was a coworker of mine. Peter came to Classen 12 times just to see me and I was only there 3 of those, but shortly after that he asked me on our first date and it lasted 4-1⁄2 hours! But it was the most magical first date.”
Who doesn’t love seeing that “big reveal” moment with all of your friends! The love in their eyes is a special part of a wedding day, and one we always enjoy seeing!
The deep burgundy color of the bridesmaid’s dresses were the perfect match for all the decor. Romantic and timeless!
“We did a first look. I loved having a moment where we could just be with each other and soak in all of the excitement before we said “I do” in front of our friends and family.”
Fast forward to the ceremony!
With chairs perfectly placed right by our favorite tree, Glenna and Peter said their “I do’s.” The magical moment when all the planning comes together, and you finally get to stand hand in hand with your future spouse in commitment.
The couple wanted to do some unique to them, and as a special representation of their unity together. Glenna says:
“Our unity ceremony was so special to me! We both work in music production, so we decided to solder an XLR cable together. I loved getting to be super creative by including our music production/musician sides of us into our ceremony.”
